Geez A Gi' is a registered charity set out to provide access to Martial Arts classes across Scotland by means of subsiding, and in some cases eradicating, the cost of necessary uniform and equipment needed to train. In doing so we aim to lower the barriers that many participants face in the way of cost associated with training, even at a grassroots level, and help bring more participants to Martial Arts, furthering a healthy society through sport and inclusion.

The name 'Geez A Gi' was chosen as it encompasses; the aim of the Christie's purpose of giving all participants access to a uniform, highlights the Scottish origins of the charity, and is a slight linguistic humour in that it is a homophone.
